Country Oaks Adult Mobile Home Park is a small (22 unit) gated community for residents aged 55 or older. It's conveniently located midway between Lakeland and Plant City, just to the south side of I-4, about half a mile west of Exit 25 (County Line Road). See the Contact page for a map. The park features paved roads, street lighting and high security key locked mailboxes. Rent includes lawn mowing, trash, water and sewer. The homes are a mix of owner occupied and rental homes, some newer and many older but well maintained. All are unfurnished, have central air and heat, essential appliances plus washer and dryer (or hookups). All have storage sheds, off road parking and most have a carport. Homes are intended for permanent residency with a one-year lease required to move in. There is seldom a vacancy and when a home becomes available, it usually rents within days. Often there are prospective tenants on a waiting list. An on-site manager is available to assist with maintenance issues in a timely manner. The owners do not live in the Park, but visit often and are available by phone or email.
